Addem San Diego Appoints New Leaders to the
Board of Directors
San Diego, California, April 22, 2008 - Addem San Diego, a leading San
Diego-based Manufacturer's Representative company, announced the addition of 2
new members to the Company's Board of Directors.
Mike Drotar has over 30 years experience in the electronics and semiconductor
business. From 1990 through 2005, Mike was Owner and President of Addem/San
Diego and Addem/Arizona. From 1981 through 1989 Mike was with Kyocera in
various sales marketing and management positions, establishing their Sales
Representative and Distribution network, plus had P&L responsibility for
their Electronic Components Group. Prior to that time, Mike spent over 10
years in sales and management for component distributors. Since turning over the
reigns at Addem, Mike has been a founder /organizer of the Bank of the Internet
and a management/investment team at Xitron Technologies.....both of which became
public companies.
Alan Frank has 17 years experience in the semiconductor business having worked
for both small and large corporations. His current role is Vice President of WW
Sales, Airgain, Inc. From 2002 2007 he held various roles with Semtech
Corporation, most recently as Director of Western Sales. Prior to Semtech, he
was Director of Worldwide Sales and Business Development for Oren Semiconductor,
a demodulator IC company. Previously, he held Sales and Sales Management roles
at Altera, Cypress Semiconductor, and Epson. Additionally, he brings 5 years of
direct experience with Addem via his role at Cypress (a current key Addem
principal / supplier). Alan holds a BSEE from the University of Delaware.
